Charlotte’s pups are in for a treat! In 2025 Liles Construction completed a complex interior renovation to transform a vacant podium-level space beneath an apartment community into Molly’s Dog Care.

This build-out required thoughtful planning from the start to ensure a durable and welcoming dog haven designed for high-traffic daily use. The project featured a new demising wall to separate the facility from an adjacent future tenant space. The interior layout was designed with owners, pets and staff in mind, featuring a streamlined check-in area, dedicated grooming zones with custom grooming stations and tubs, and a large indoor play yard with specialized athletic flooring.

One major part of the scope was a new mechanical system, including a split HVAC system spanning over 100 feet from the roof of the apartment building down through an existing chase and into the tenant space.

From specialty finishes to drainage and flooring details, our team delivered a purpose-built environment that supports cleanliness, comfort, and efficient operations.
