Liles Construction was honored to be behind this unique project for the Cabarrus Health Alliance campus, an upfit within 39,000 SF of the Cooperative Christian Ministry Rebuilder's campus at the historic Brown Mill in Concord, NC.
This project thoughtfully blended old and new by preserving the building’s industrial character while integrating modern, functional office spaces constructed from large shipping container shells.
After breaking ground in November 2024, our team embraced both the opportunities and challenges that came with revitalizing an older structure, including discovering a tree that had grown directly through a masonry wall, which was carefully removed. Projects like this highlight the craftsmanship, problem-solving, respect for history, and unique solutions that adaptive reuse demands!
