The Chadbourn Mill, once a booming hosiery mill, now has new life thanks to Liles Construction and White Point Partners. The beautiful old mill now features (new) mill-style windows and skyline views of Charlotte's uptown while playing off of the building's historical integrity. 

On the building's interior, the team had to temporarily shore the entire first floor while punching windows out and bringing steel into place. On the exterior, Liles pumped water daily in one of the wettest winters on record to keep the building's parking pad dry. The wet Winter was only complicated by the existing site drainage issues and shade from the building. Despite having to skim mud every day for months, the project was still delivered on time and well under budget.
